WHAT IS ALPHA?
Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. After launch, it runs for a total of ten sessions on Tuesday nights with the option of a day away in the middle. Each session has an epic short video filmed all over the world covering a range of topics, followed by discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts (or just listen to others).
At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem.
Alpha runs from Tuesday 23 January starting at 7.30pm with great coffee and treats in a relaxed atmosphere. Each week we’ll be finished no later than 9.15pm.
There will also be a Saturday day away when we’ll be inviting everyone on the current Alpha to join us for a day away together. (Date for your diary: Saturday 3 March, 2018)
This will take place from 10am - 4pm, and we’ll cover lunch and refreshments on the day. It’s a great opportunity to get to know your group better, hang out, and explore Christianity more. If you’re worried about childcare on the day, please let us know and we’ll do what we can to help.
WHAT TYPES OF TOPICS ARE DISCUSSED?
Who is Jesus?
Why did Jesus die?
How can I have faith?
Why and how do I pray?
Why and how should I read the bible?
How can I resist evil?
Does God heal today?
Why and how should I tell others?
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
The entire course is absolutely free.
STILL INTERESTED ?
Alpha is for anyone who's curious. If you have any questions at all, we’d love to hear from you.
