Every Sunday

9.45am ○ Pre-Service Prayer

As a church we passionately believe in prayer. One of the highlights of Sundays is our pre-service prayer gathering which begins every Sunday at 9.45am before the main service.

We spend some time calling out to God for one another, our City and our Nation. We then spend some time listening to the Holy Spirit, prophesying and sharing what God is saying to us. It's a great, safe place to grow in the things of the Spirit. If you’re thinking of visiting, why not join us?

Children and families are welcome to pray with us but a family area is also available.

Prayer finishes around 10.10am when everyone is invited to mingle and enjoy some tea or coffee.

10.30am ○ Main Gathering

Each Sunday we begin our gathering by highlighting any upcoming events. We then provide space for anyone in our community to share what God has been doing in their lives. This is often stories of God's faithfulness and answers to prayer.

We then move into a time of celebration and sung worship led by our worship band from the front. This usually lasts 20-25 minutes and all the words are on the screen. We encourage you to engage at your own pace, so if sitting and observing is more comfortable you should feel free to do so.

Normally our time of sung worship will be followed by a relevant talk from our Lead Pastor or someone on our team. We plan our talks to be engaging, challenging, inspiring, applicable and biblical. They normally last around 30-35 minutes. At the end of the talk we conclude our gathering with a second worship time as we reflect on what we have heard. If you’d like to take communion or have someone pray with you, this is available during the second worship time.

Wee:Hope, our children’s ministry is available during our morning service. Read more here.

About Re:Hope

Re:Hope church was planted 14 years ago in Glasgow’s vibrant West End near the University of Glasgow.  There are now three Re:Hope locations, in Belfast, Glasgow's West End and Glasgow's Southside.

Re:Hope has a young vibe targeting your average twenty-something. We are passionate about prayer, worship and the Bible; helping people discover the wonder of God and what He has done for us. Our congregation covers all ages, but the majority are between 18 and 40.

Re:Hope is an extremely healthy Bible-focused and Spirit-led church filled with vision and vitality. Our health stems from consistent God-seeking eldership and staff, high quality ministry with dynamic and relevant bible teaching and worship. Our mission continues to be about reaching and raising up mature, praying Jesus followers with a particular calling to the ‘Next Generation' as we lay the foundations for a long lasting reawakening in our lives and in our city.

Visitor FAQ

We love having visitors! When you turn up, you’ll be greeted at the door by some of our welcome team. They'll be able to show you around, direct you to the bathrooms and Wee:Hope room. Feel free to ask them any additional questions you have.

Is car parking available?

Free parking is available on Sundays in the car park to the rear of Malone Lodge Hotel. Look out for our welcome team!

We would advise all motorists to not leave any valuables in your car. Re:Hope Belfast or Malone Lodge will not accept liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred.

Is the building accessible?

Yes. Ramp access is available at the front of the building and disabled car parking spaces are available in the hotel car park.

Once inside, the hotel facilities include disabled toilets and a baby changing area.

What is your age demographic?

Our congregation covers all ages (and everyone is welcome!) but the majority are between 18 and 40.

We passionately believe that people are central to God’s plan and purposes and we want to help each and every person find out who they are in Christ; whatever your age or background: whether you’re exploring faith, wanting to visit, or looking for a church that you can call HOME - there's a place for you.

How long does the

service last?

We aim to finish the service at 12noon each Sunday but people regularly hang around to chat following the service. Prayer ministry continues afterwards for as long as people need.

We often plan spontaneous lunch trips to near-by restaurants in the city after the service - you'd be so welcome to join us!

What do people wear?

People tend to dress informally, so don’t worry about having to dress up – jeans and t-shirts are in the majority!

If you prefer to wear something more formal to church, that’s fine too.

What about Communion?

Communion is available every week at Re:Hope as part of our response. We invite anyone who knows Jesus to the table. This is available during the second worship time.

How do I stay up-to-date at Re:Hope?

Our main way of communicating news and updates is through social media and email. Follow us on Instagram (@rehopebelfast) and like our page on Facebook..

We also send weekly emails with updates and more for that week. You can sign up for that on our home page.

Can I meet some of the team?

Every couple of weeks we run a 'New to Church' gathering where some of our team would love to get to know you and introduce you to who we are as a church - you are so welcome to join us!

Read more about our team here and please do get in touch!
