We each have a decision to make, do we want to run after the God of the Bible and become alive in what he has for us? Or, do we choose to live according to the fleshly desires of this present age?
At the start of this year across our whole church we are taking a journey together to ask that question and take some significant steps to coming more alive and fresh in the things of God. We don't want to be shaped by the things of this world, rather we want to live lives that are radically different, that are reawakened.
As a church we passionately believe that reawakened people will transform cities. Throughout this series we will be looking at how we become reawakened, through the reading of God's word, through prayer, by practicing sabbath, in our generosity and more.
Together we want to move from apathy to passion to see these lands revived for Christ as we lay the foundations for a long-lasting reawakening.
And you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you previously lived according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit now working in the disobedient. We too all previously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and we were by nature children under wrath as the others were also. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us, made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!
