KIDS ON SUNDAYS
At Re:Hope, we really care about kids. We want to see children learn the good news about Jesus, get to know Him as their Saviour and follow Him for their whole lives. We want kids to learn about who God is and take their first steps in worship and prayer.
On Sunday mornings 'Wee:Hope' is available for kids aged 1 year old (or younger if you have an early walker) up to 11 years old. If it is your first time visiting with us, one of our welcome team can show you where to go.
We believe it is important for children to learn about Jesus in a fun, loving and safe environment. Therefore all our team members go through a process in order to serve. This includes an Access NI background check.
On Sunday mornings we offer a structured kids program, generally including some games/play, songs, Bible story and prayer, craft and snack. The team are excited to see kids learning about who God is, getting to know the Bible, and seeing God at work in their lives.
Your First Visit
Registering your child is quick and easy. You can register on Sunday using a simple form with your details, your child’s details and an emergency contact number. We’ll ask about allergies, any medical details or other information that would be helpful for us to know about. All information will be securely stored.
We’ll need you to check your child in before leaving them in our care. Check-in opens from 10.15am. Kids will stay with you for the first part of the service. Once worship finishes, simply drop them off with our leaders. If there are any issues that need your attention during the service, we will let you know. Please remember to check out your child as soon as the service finishes.
Some parents like to keep their children with them during the service. It’s not a problem if you’d prefer to do this - if your child is having a hard time being separated from you, we are happy to work with you to make you and your child more comfortable.
We welcome young babies in the service, and we have kick mats, bouncy seats and some baby-friendly toys available if this is useful. Please ask a team member on Sunday morning for help to get these. The toilets have changing facilities for babies and toddlers using nappies.
Amy is part of our Core Team at Re:Hope Belfast and currently leads the Wee:Hope team. If you have a question for Amy, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
